I have experience both in aiding others in finding a life in recovery along with aiding families of those facing addiction come to terms with changes in their family.
I had been raised in a family that had a very strong sense of spirituality that helped me to focus my own path in life, while also being able to keep an open mind. For instance in undergraduate, I have both a psychology and a mathematics background. In examining the interactions of these two, I have been able to see a broader spectrum of the difficulties that others endure. Even as a practitioner of psychology, I am part of a family, part of a community and a part of the town of Manchester. By healing the pain in our life, we in effect, help to heal the pain of our community around us. In understanding the connection between each other, we are able to have a grand impact on bringing balance to those that we interact with. It continues to be my duty to increase my own enlightenment and pursue goals of balance in my life, just as everyone around me does. I continue to take additional training in a variety of areas to expand my knowledge base so that I can aid my clients in many ways. In the past year, I have expanded on knowledge sets of traumatic brain injury along with the particular set of difficulties that veterans face. At the same time, I am ever widening my knowledge and wisdom associated with spirituality, and helping to guide others. I pray that my experience and expertise can aid you in the development of the particular transition that you are looking to work through.
